Hawaii 2010

Yeah so, we went to Hawaii. Maui to be exact. Are you jealous?
Here are just a few. We have a million photos of the trip!

We all enjoyed thanksgiving dinner! On the boat going out to snorkel. Sorry linds got sick!


I think there is still sand in her diaper! Golfing with family was great! See the rainbow even?

Silly girl! She is getting so big! She had a lot of fun and even survived the
plane ride! Glad we discovered coloring! Thats it for now. Thanks to everyone
for making it a good time and helping out!

B-Day and Halloween

Kylee turned 2! She had a party at the park and invited some friends.


2 going on 14? what an attitude! She really did try to blow on them. If you watch close she gives a little blow.


Pretty brave at 2 to go down by herself. Little different than a year ago!


Funny kid. A big playground and where do you go? of course you play in the water!

Halloween was fun. Kylee was Dorothy, and we went as the main characters from Juno because Lindsey is Prego. Some got it, some didnt. Was still fun.

Shirts......N Stuff

Richard printed some shirts for his sister recently. There were different colored tank tops so it left a bunch of colors on the platen. Just thought it was colorful artsy lines. Lyssa might think its cool. You might not. Oh well.
Also made tri-tip wrapped in bacon. It was delicious. If you only could have smelled it!



Getting it from Costco it was $25, but I split it up and froze some, so this is less than $5 worth. Not bad for tri-tip! It was enough for 2 meals. Thats cheaper than McDonalds! With seasoned potato wedges, and veggies with cheese. So good! are you hungry yet?

General Conference Campout

This weekend we got to escape the heat (still 105 degrees!) and go to the mountains to go camping! Some friends of ours have a satellite on their camper, so they go camping every time the church has General Conference and we went with them. The weather was great!



Linds and Kylee sitting near the fire. She did good wearing her hat and gloves. Warm enough she only had to wear them in the early morning. She had fun in the dirt too!



This is what you get when you take your hat off and your hair is crazy. You gotta make a face to go with it. Little view of Arizona rain storm. Dont happen often but when they do it makes things a lot more pretty.



People brought some guns and we went and shot some things for fun. Shot some skeet and targets. Richard was shooting an AK-47 and thought it was more comfortable to pull the trigger with middle finger and rested his pointer finger along the side of the gun (dumb!) When the bolt came back to eject the shell it taught him an important lesson.



Since the nail was split into 3 pieces he just wore a band-aid so it didnt snag on things, but that got old quick. So, went and got some acrylic nails and used his super glue to put a cast on it. Yep, go from blasting holes with an AK-47 to wearing fake nails. Lame. Does work pretty good though if you ever destroy a fingernail and get tired of band-aids.

Wehadababyitsaboy

Yep! Big news. We found out that the next Owen addition is a boy! Leave us an idea for boys names in the comment box! We are excited to have one of each, and we think from here on out it will just be a surprise if/when we have more.

We had a pool party this weekend, and pulled out garage band for people to play. It has been forever since we played. Kylee was way more into it this time! She had to play the drums and guitars and hasn't put the mic down since we got it out. Surprised she knew exactly what the mic was and how to use it before she saw anyone else using it. She is quite observant after all! We have no idea what she is singing, but it is funny to watch her do it.

Andrews Home!

Richards little brother Andrew came home from his mission last week. He has been in Poland for the last 2 years. We took a quick trip to CA to see him come home.



During the trip home we went waterskiing. It was fun, dont get to do it enough anymore!
