Thanksgiving catch up

Time to catch up! Here is some Halloween fun. Kylee went to the pumpkin patch and had lots of fun. Also dressed up as a lady bug. Trick or treat in the stroller was fun once she caught on.


Thanksgiving was in Minnesota. The weather was a lot better than normal. Kylee had a blast with the dogs and playing.

You would think that she still just eats and sleeps. I wish! She is busy doing everything right now. Having a lot of fun with her walking toy, and constantly trying to break down the doggie gates that keep her in the front room. Getting so much bigger, and a lot more personality.

Oshkosh!

Went to Oshkosh this year. It was awesome! I will spare you the details and just show some pictures! It was sure good to get out of the heat too!

Dad and Mom flew the Lancair from CA. Now thats a bomb! 10,000 lb blockbuster.


The white knight II is built by Rutan and Advanced scale composites. It is made to carry things up high so they can be launched into space. Thats the reason for the funky design is so it can carry things in the middle. Just a cool old biplane with smoke, and wing walker


The most creative (redneck?) float plane i have seen. A kodiak raft with an ultralight strapped to it. Whatever works! The new pitts model TI-12. gotta make an rc one!


The smallest plane in the world, i think its a cri cri designed in france, and one of the biggest, an airbus a380 were displayed next to each other. The airbus flew in the airshow and they let you walk around in it. We never did cause the line was like 4 hours.

Traumatized

Daddy being mean to poor Kylee. This is why she will have a fear of frogs for the rest of her life.

4th of July

OK, so we haven't been slacking on posting for the 4th of July, we just haven't been home long enough to do it. So here goes.

We went to the Owen Family Reunion in the LA area. We went to Pelican Hills Golf Course (really awesome) and donated some golf balls to their trees. It was a lot of fun.

Kylee is getting bigger. Learning all the time and getting more mobile. Bummer haha.


Swimming with the cousins. She loves the water, even in the bath.


There was a glass table in the hotel room that she thought was so neat because she could see you through the table but couldn't get you.


Theres the crew. I printed some Tshirts for the trip. It was a lot of fun. Thanks again everyone!

Visit to Minnesota

We went to Minnesota to visit Lindseys family for a while. Was a lot of fun and had a nice time to relax there. Here are some pictures!

We put Kylees car seat on the luggage to get around. We got a lot of laughs and funny looks, but it was the easiest way and I wouldnt do it any other way. Grandma Mirehouse found a walker at a garage sale and Kylee had fun wandering around in it.

Heres grandma and Kylee, yep, wearing coats! It was nice to get out of Phoenix as it was getting hot. Funny baby.


Went to the lake with some family. Had fun in the water, and did some fishing. We caught some big ones, and.........well............


Got a permit for those guns? Lindsey goofing on the dock. One of the nice sunsets we had there. The lake was nice and not as cold as we suspected.


Kylee had fun in the warmer water in the kid pool, and of course had to put everything in her mouth. She figured out how to crawl forward while we were there also! Until now it was just moving backwards. Now she can get into things. Lindseys sister Kelsey and her boyfriend Kyle got taken off the tube.

First time swimming!

Kylee went swimming for the first time recently. She thought it was a lot of fun. Didnt fuss at all getting in the water, just a worried look on her face, but soon relaxed and had a good time. What a goofball!

Funny noises

Was really hard to get her to talk on the camera, every time we pull it out she just wants to look at the camera and play with it. She has been getting a lot more vocal lately.



Here was a big lizard that was by our house. He had some neat colors and textures. Thought the painters might find it interesting. Lindsey wouldnt let me catch him though.



Here she was really tired and was crying while eating dinner and it was kinda funny, but of course when I get the camera out she is ok. Some funny faces here though.



Lindsey had a student this week that according to him " could not write my paper because I was too busy closing my eyes." There are some advantages of teaching first grade!

(I just realized that you probably think we don't own any clothes for Kylee! We'll get more pics/videos with her dressed! haha)

Time to catch up!

It has been a while since we updated, heres the skinny:

Kylee is getting big fast. But she is so cute. Richards favorite candy bar is snickers, so we know where she gets that from. The glasses are from Grandma n Grandpa Owen. The carrots on her face are her own doing.


Grandpa Mirehouse and Kelsey went on a trip to Florida with the band and got her a surfer outfit complete with a little visor. We can now sit up on our own. Isnt she so cute!


Richards sister Lyssa and her husband Stanley came over for Easter. We tried to make the homemade easter baskets because it is a tradition, but we used yarn and elmers glue. Didnt work as well. Still fun though.


We had to have some fun with kylee and the baloon static. Also Lyssa driving my little car. Kylee loved it.


Went with a group of friends to walk with March for Dimes. The girls were all tuckered out. Look how big she is! She loves playing with the maracas, but usually just holds it and beats herself in the head and the leg with it, so we help her out some (its really a subliminal video to get you to buy an RV). She doenst know what to think about the Minnie doll because it is all fuzzy.





Richard's friend got tickets to NASCAR at phoenix international raceway. They went there for a night race. It was way different than seeing it on tv. Sunscreen is optional, earplugs are mandatory!

Learning Every Day!

We had a great time visiting family in CA during Lindseys career fair. The car ride was long, but we were there for a couple days, so it was fun. She is grabbing things a lot better (too well most of the time) and thinks she should feed herself now (for better or worse)!
